Biography
Hannah Honrath is an associate attorney at Reiter Law Firm. She is a South Dakota native who grew up near Tyndall, South Dakota, graduating from Bon Homme High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Mount Marty College. Hannah graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice, minoring in English with a literature focus and history.
After receiving her undergraduate degree, Hannah went on to attend the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, where she received her juris doctorate in May of 2022. While in law school, Hannah was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Board and the Trial Team. She placed first in the intramural client counseling competition hosted by the ADR Board in her first year of law school, and went on to participate in four competitions with the Board, including areas like negotiations, client counseling, and arbitration. On trial team, Hannah competed three times, gaining valuable trial experience. She also served as Professor Laura Rose’s research assistant, aiding her with classes such as evidence and trial techniques.
Following law school, Hannah worked as a law clerk for the First Judicial Circuit of South Dakota for one year. She was admitted to the South Dakota Bar in January of 2023. She remains involved at USD, serving as a coach for both trial team and ADR. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her two dogs and reading.
